Hiding DateRange's hour:minute:second section

Hi,
In param and panel application, I created a slider using param.DateRange. On the page this slider looks like “04 Jan 2013 23:28:55”. I want to hide its hour:minute:second section.
How can I do that?

CalendarDateRange seems to resolve it.
