Just mentioning this in case anyone wants to pick it up.
I found the Tiles reference page confusing. Despite the display axes ticks being Lat and Lon, to overlay Points successfully the positions have to be in Easting and Northing. I found a converter in the Tile, method to do the job easting_northing_to_lon_lat for converting. I don’t think I can suggest improvement to the page without understanding the intentions.
