Getting started with editable template - how to get current layout? set up default layout?

I am working with the EditableTemplate for the first time. In my own environment, I have resized all my boxes to a nice layout, and I can press the save button and the layout comes back next time I load.

But, I need to know how to set some good defaults for a first-time user’s layout. How do I get my saved layout and copy it into the source code for my app as the default layout for new users?

Hmm, I vaguely remember a .layout file (or named something differently). Can you do a ls -a?

In what directory?

I believe where it was served from.

Yeah, nothing in that directory. I’ve switched templates for now.
