pn.pane.Markdown() output not visible in jupyter notebook cell

looking to develop python coding into an advancement of skills toward dashboard builds.
this is my first experience with Panel & so walking through the tutorials.
right away — the heuristic component of Panel’s applied dynamic is thwarted by something.

this did not solve the issue nor did Bokeh like the panel downgrade from pyviz and so a
uninstall & subsequent re-install from conda-forge.
Panel back to working, but this invisible Markdown result remains.

Welcome to the community. Try not to print the component. Then it will be displayed as a string. Just let the component be the last code line.

yes.
i see this fault & realize it seemed a mix up in my
attentions. i also find the solution in a youtube video
by Ryan Noonan where his marquee example did not
show this print(‘’) statement.

a nice cross check to your effort & consideration my way.
