Is it possible to insert a scalebar to a Geoviews plot? I have searched around and haven’t found a way to include a scalebar. I can imagine things like plotting a rectangle on the map, but I would like for the scale bar to stay in the corner when panning and zooming.
At present I think any solution to that issue would be a hack. Bokeh is planning on robust subplot support for the 3.0 release that would probably make adding a scalebar easy, but for now I think you’d need to fake it with a rectangle and a callback to update the rectangle size on zooming and the position on panning, which will probably always lag a little bit…
