Is is possible to perform any formatting on a hv table in terms of colouring the cells or columns. Or say the colour of the column names?

Would also like to know this! I know it’s possible with plotly. So, you could just serve a plotly table with panel. But I’d also like to do it with Holoviews.
I can contribute my little knowledge.
- The table is built on SlickGrid. You can take a look at the examples(https://github.com/6pac/SlickGrid/wiki/Examples) to see what in theory could be possible.
- I believe (hypothesis) that the table is a Panel DataFrame. If you take a look at the guide you can see that you can specify some
editorsandformatters. I guess you might be able to access that object and change it. - If you would like to style the Table differently it is possible. I’ve done it (in Panel) via CSS to support a Dark Themed, Material Design app. You can find the default css here https://github.com/mleibman/SlickGrid/blob/master/slick-default-theme.css.
An alternative if your tables are small and you don’t need interactivity is to use Pandas Styling.
I would also like to know how this could be done “easily”. For example the Plotly tables can be “easily” styled. https://plotly.com/python/table/
